The Nine Muses of Duskwood Applegrove
The Satyrs of Duskwood Applegrove had a problem. Of all twelve families within the clan, none have given birth to little Satyrs in years! Then Syne becomes pregnant and the small clan comes together to celebrate and pray. A miracle happens: nonuplets - nine baby girls. Syne and Dweys name them after the nine famous muses of myth.
It has been fifty years since their birth, and in that time, the fertility issues of the clan have subsided, and the girls are ready to set out on their own adventures. As is customary for a Satyr, they will each have a decade-long journey of self-discovery.

Calliope
Calliope sets out to travel the feywild to share her love for Damh, music, life and love. She loves to perform on her flute, to tell beautiful stories, to help others wherever she can, and especially, to plan and officiate weddings.
On her journey through the lands of the fey, she makes many friends, helps arrange and perform many ritual rites, and of course: she falls in love. Adrasteia is a dryad without a tree; forever travelling, in search of her own tree, she joined Calliope on her travels for a while. It was bliss! They shared a love for storytelling and poetry, nature and exploration. Until one night, they had an argument, and Adrasteia, passionate as ever, stormed away. Keen to make up, Calliope followed her, calling apologies and promises to do better, but she could not find her lost lover.
Distraught, Calliope searched for weeks and months - to no avail. One night, in her desperation, she begged Damh for a way out. Her prayers were answered in the form of a small sheep, who baaah and bleeet at her until she followed it… and found herself at a portal to the mortal plane.
